![]() There was a total of 16,454 women in leadership roles compared to 47,167 men only 25.9 percent of all STEM leaders were women.For senior professionals (Grades 13 through 15), the largest percentage of women in STEM were in Science occupations in contrast, the male senior professionals were evenly split between Science and Engineering.Similarly, the largest percentage of experienced women, which includes Grades 8 through 12, worked in Science occupations. The largest percentage of women working in entry-level STEM occupations were working in Science occupations.Approximately 10.7 percent of women working in STEM were individuals with disabilities and 1.2 percent of those women had a targeted disability. ![]() In addition, 1.98 percent indicated they were more than one race. By comparison, 14.58 percent were African American or Black, 9.76 percent Asian, 6.42 percent Hispanic or Latina, 0.97 percent American Indian/Alaska Native, and 0.28 percent Hawaiian or Pacific Islander.
